Colonial Downs, VA (CNL) 7/19/2021-9/1/2021
25 stakes are scheduled, including the $250,000 New Kent County Virginia Derby (G3) at nine furlongs over the lawn for 3-year-olds on August 31.
Inaugural online free handicapping contest on July 26 with several amazing prizes up for grabs.
Covid-19 update: Both indoor and outdoor seating is available at the New Kent track. Tables are rearranged to provide adequate physical distancing. Face coverings are required for all guests and team members. Temperature is screened prior to entry. No one with a confirmed temperature of 100.4 or above will be allowed entry.
Del Mar, CA (DM) 7/16/2021-9/6/2021
The site of the 2021 Breeders’ Cup, Del Mar has 53 stakes races scheduled, including the $300,000 Bing Crosby (G1), $300,000 Clement L. Hirsch (G1), and $750,000 TVG Pacific Classic (G1), all Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series events.
The Breeders’ Cup is on November 5 – 6, 2021.
Two handicapping contests are available: Del Mar Summer Handicapping Challenge, Saturday, July 31 & Sunday, August 1, 2021, $400 buy-in, and a One-day live money contest hosted by Del Mar on TVG Pacific Classic Day, Saturday, August 21, 2021.
Covid-19 Update: Race meet opens with 100% capacity for fans in seating areas throughout the facility. Currently, fans will be required to wear masks when visiting Del Mar, except when eating or drinking in designated areas. However, California Governor Gavin Newsom is scheduled to issue revised guidance on June 15th, and track officials will adjust requirements on face coverings based on the new guidelines.
All fans wishing to attend must obtain a seating package in advance of their arrival. Admission tickets and parking passes will be included in the package. The track will put seats on sale online on Friday, June 18 (go to DMTC.com/tickets), with a pre-sale available on Thursday, June 17 for those that sign up at the Del Mar website (DMTC.com/2021).
Ellis Park, KY (EP) 6/27/2021-9/4/2021
15 stakes are carded, including the Kentucky Downs Preview Series on August 7th and 8th and the $200,000 Ellis Park Derby on August 31.
Covid 19 update: Masks are no longer required for customers. Smoking is allowed indoors on the Gaming Floor.
Los Alamitos Thoroughbred, CA (LRC) 6/25/2021-7/5/2021
Three stakes, two graded, will occur during the short filler meet between the end of Santa Anita and the beginning of Del Mar. A live handicapping contest, which is an NHC Qualifier, is tentatively set for July 4.

Woodbine, Ontario, CA (WO) 6/12/2021-12/5/2021
87 stakes are scheduled, 36 graded, and three are Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series events. Meet highlights include the $1 million Queen’s Plate Stakes, North America’s oldest stakes race, and the $1 million Ricoh Woodbine Mile (G1).
Covid-19 Update: Live racing at Woodbine Racetrack will operate without any spectators due to government restrictions. Simulcast betting only.
Saratoga, NY (SAR) 7/15/2021-9/6/2021
The “A List” track offers 76 stakes races, 18 Grade 1 stakes, including seven Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series events. One of the highlights is the $1,250,000 Travers Stakes (G1) nick-named the “Mid-Summer Derby.”
Covid-19 Update: Reserved seating in the Clubhouse, The Stretch, and Fourstardave Sports Bar available for vaccinated fans only. Fans may show proof of vaccination via the New York State Excelsior Pass or by showing their Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card. Non-vaccinated children under the age of 16 will be admitted to seating and hospitality areas designated for vaccinated fans when accompanied by a vaccinated adult. Children 12 and under are free.
Individuals are considered fully vaccinated by the CDC/New York State 14 days or more after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or 14 days or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson / Janssen).
Limited reserved seats in the Grandstand are available for non-vaccinated fans. Non-vaccinated fans must wear a facial covering and observe social distancing while at Saratoga Race Course based on current New York State guidelines.
