Another Week Of The People’s Picks
As another weekend comes upon us, we are excited to see some of the big time games and events happening. Read on for the three People’s Picks for this week!
Another Week Of The People’s Picks
NCAA Football
What do I keep trying to tell you, people? TCU is going to keep on winning! Not only did I call their +250 upset against Texas, but I continually tell you week by week to dabble in the Horned Frogs.
People’s Picks for this week against the Baylor Bears, they are around -150 and -3 to cover the spread. I think TCU will complete both of these and Sunny’s team will continue to roll their way to a college football playoff opportunity.
Another big matchup I like is for Utah to beat the underperforming Oregon Ducks teams at Oregon this week and I think USC will continue their path to victory as well. Besides that, this week is relatively dry for tight lines so I think your best bets are TCU and Utah led by their QB in Cameron Rising paired with that elite Utes defense group that continues to put up top-of-the-line numbers.
NFL Football
People’s Picks are eager to see Rodgers win again in Lambeau Field against the Titans and take that -160 moneyline. This Pack Crew may not be the most star-studded, but they got a captain that knows how to man the ship.
Expect that momentum from their huge win against Dallas to carry on into this matchup and even though the defense will have a full day of assignments to try to slow down Tennessee’s Derrick Henry, I think Rodgers gets it done once again and the Packers role their way into continued hopes of the playoffs.
After seeing how hard the Los Angeles Chargers competed until the very last minute in Santa Clara against the 49ers, I like their possibility to bounce back with an unfavored line against the Kansas City Chiefs. I think Justin Herbert will prove to perform even better against a Chiefs defense that is nowhere near the capacity of the Niners unit he just versed and they will pull of the upset in prime time on their home field in Los Angeles.
Other sure picks around the league I don’t even hesitate to take are the Cincinnati Bengals visiting the Steelers as I think Joe Burrow will do his thing and ultimately carve up Tomlin’s defense. I also very much cosign the Niners to destroy Kingsbury’s failing Cardinals team that can’t find a way to win football games and I think we start to see the beginning of everything meshing together in San Francisco.
Tennis ATP Turin Finals
How about tennis? We get to see the current top 8 male tennis players in the world get to face off against each other every day this week to gain overall points and hopefully win the ultimate trophy in the end.
With Rafael Nadal proving to be a little rusty and sluggish in his most recent outings, I see a new star in Felix Auger Aliassime to be one of the favorites to win this whole thing. With his extremely hard and fast serving game to tactical defense playoff opponent serves, this young French kid really has it all and I think we have a prizing career with him ahead of us.
But overall, the People’s Picks say this is Novak Djokovic’s tournament. With his recent finals loss to the young athlete in Holger Rune, I think Djokovic is out for blood and you will see him redeem himself and prove why he’s not only one of the best in this world, but the best at the Turin Final advances on.
His ability to track down tough shots from opponents and return them with his dominant world-class forehand will prove why he deserves to claim this tournament. He has a tough match with Rublev, who was able to upset Daniil Medvedev in their last match, so it’ll be fun to treat to watch those two share the court next.
