DraftKings & Simplebet Set to Offer Micro-Bets
DraftKings keeps making their presence known in the sports betting industry as they continue to extend their partnerships in the very competitive market. The company partnered with Autograph earlier to launch a huge collection of NFT’s showcasing the biggest names in the sports world.
DraftKings also expanded its customer base by acquiring Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG). DraftKings offers a wide of promotions for customers who are also interested in the casino aspect of the app. The company has no plans to stop as they have a deal with Simplebet to change the in-game betting experience.
A technology firm known as Simplebet has agreed to a multi-year deal with DraftKings to bring the betting experience to another level. Integration with Simplebet’s micro-betting technology will allow DraftKings to expand its reach to more customers in the United States.
So what is this real-money micro betting that Simplebet will implement on the DraftKings Sportsbook platform?
DraftKings & Simplebet offering Micro-Bets
Bettors on the platform will be able to bet on the micro-level like play-by-play, throw-by-throw, if the next point is made via free throws, how many yards X player will run on the next play, and other more creative ways. This is a way to expand the in-game offering experience instead of just live betting on a team or the under/over of the game.
Under the agreement that was put into place, DraftKings will be able to offer Simplebet’s micro-betting products for the NFL, MLB, and NBA and a bunch of college football events. This would be the first attempt to push micro-betting at the collegiate level as different states have different laws when betting on Division 1 sports.
