N’Golo Kante Set to Join Al-Ittihad

The Saudi Arabian League is growing and will be among the favorites in a few years. Some of the big names in soccer have signed for the top soccer clubs in Saudi Arabia. Recently, Christiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr FC for a two and half year deal. Each season, Ronaldo will earn €200 million (A$315m).

The fee is among the most expensive signings ever recorded. More players are set to join Ronaldo in the Saudi League.  Ronaldo gave his opinion on the Saudi league. He said,

“But I am happy here, I want to continue here, I will continue here. And in my opinion, if they continue to do the work that they want to do here, for the next five years, I think the Saudi league can be a top-five league in the world.”

Karim Benzema Joins Al-Ittihad

Karim Benzema is among the lethal strikers who have enjoyed the no 9 shirts with many goals on their names. Benze has been the top striker at Real Madrid. His contribution to the team has been immense, and he has assisted Real Madrid in winning many titles.

Benzema joined Madrid in 2009 from French club Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon). He had a signing fee of about €35 million. He has been among the top players and influential at Real Madrid and is an all-time leading scorer.

For the first time, Benzema won the Ballon d’Or in 2022. It was after a successful season with Madrid. He had won the World Cup with his home country French National team, earlier. In addition, Benzema had secured several La Liga trophies with Real Madrid, making him a favorite in the contest.

Benzema has been with Real Madrid for 14 years, and the club confirmed that the player will depart. Benzema’s stats at Madrid are exceptional. He played 648 games, scoring 354 goals. His last champions league ended when Manchester City knocked Real Madrid out in the semi-final.

Benzema has signed for the Saudi Arabian team Al-Ittihad. He will be in Saudi for three years with the league winners. Benzema is set to help keep the odds at the top for the team to retain the title.

N’Golo Kante To Leave Chelsea for Al-Ittihad

N’Golo Kante has been a top midfielder at Chelsea and a player loved by everyone for his simplicity. Kante helped Chelsea lift the 2021 Champions League. He signed for Chelsea in 2016 and has been an asset to the team.

He assisted Chelsea in winning the English Premier League title the same season he signed. Kante’s ability to cover and recover lost balls has earned him praise. His contract with the Blues is set to expire at the end of the season. Kante will leave on a free transfer.

He is set to join his fellow Frenchman Karim Benzema at Al-Ittihad. He is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Saudi Arabia Club.

Kante has had injury issues in the concluded season and hasn’t featured in many games for the Blues. However, the player played the last games and will aim to keep fit for the coming assignment in Saudi.
