Bucks vs Nets

After two games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Kevin Durant and company even without James Harden have completely taken it to the Milwaukee Bucks even with reigning Giannis Antetokounmpo. They currently hold a 2-0 series lead and have done so convincingly.

With or without Harden, I do not see the Bucks a single game in this series even though they are going to play their next two games at home. Kevin Durant has looked as good as he ever has and the Bucks have absolutely no answer for him.

To make matters worse for Milwaukee, newly acquired Blake Griffin has found the fountain of youth it seems for Brooklyn, and Kyrie Irving is playing exceptionally well. Nets shooters such as Joe Harris as well surrounding Durant and Irving cannot seem to miss from the perimeter.

In order for the Bucks to have a chance of even winning a game this series, they are going to have to clamp down on the defensive, play efficiently on offense, and most importantly get the Nets stars in foul trouble.

I do not see all three of these things happening, which is why I believe Brooklyn will sweep Milwaukee and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Hawks vs 76ers

In my opinion, this is the most difficult series to predict after two games. The Hawks and 76ers are all knotted up at one game a piece. Games 1 and 2 were full of runs with each team roaring back to take control of the game.

The 76ers seem to have more talent especially amongst their biggest stars, but the Hawks look like a very deep team with a lot of heart.

The series now shifts to Atlanta, where the Hawks look to defend their home court. So far this postseason, the Hawks have yet to lose a game at State Farm Arena. Their fans are pumped and looking forward to giving their team an extra boost.

I believe the Hawks will win Game 3 primarily due to how well Trae Young has played at home along with the role players. In Game 4 however, I see a desperate Sixers team come out firing with an aggressive Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. I have them pulling out a narrow victory.

Going back to Philadelphia, I see the Sixers defending their home court once again to extend their win streak to two games. In Game 6 however, I believe Atlanta will bounce back and win pretty convincingly against Philadelphia to force a Game 7.
In the do or die Game 7, I have the Sixers winning a hard fought curling game to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals where I believe they will face the Nets.

Potential Eastern Conference Finals: Nets vs. 76ers

Due to the fact that I have the Hawks vs. Sixers series going seven games, I think fatigue will definitely play a role, especially in the first two games at home for Philadelphia. Brooklyn will also be well rested which will play to their advantage.

I have Brooklyn winning this series in 5 games pretty convincingly to advance to the NBA Finals. Durant and Irving will be too much to handle in my opinion. Plus, I see a healthy James Harden returning which will make their team even more unstoppable.

Besides the Golden State Warriors with Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and company, I do not remember any team like the Brooklyn Nets being such a shoe-in to reach the NBA finals. In fact, if they do indeed make it, I have them winning it all no matter who their opponent may be.
