Memorial Tournament Round 4 Best Bets
Round 4 of the Memorial Tournament is underway this morning, and bettors are surely looking to make some money on a tournament with so many names in contention.
Between matchups and futures, this article is your source for all that you need to know for a beautiful Sunday at the Muirfield Village Golf Club Dublin, Ohio.
Henley Moneyline (-125) over Keegan Bradley
Henley this week is 5th in approach to green and 7th in putts per green in regulation. Even with these stats, henley only has 14 birdies through three rounds at the Muirfield village golf club.
While it is certainly a challenging course, bettors should expect Henley to string his game together on this fourth and final day at the Memorial Tournament and make some birdies. A sprinkle on a Top 10 finish at +600 might also be a good look this afternoon.
Keegan Bradley, on the other hand, is 50th in shots gained off the tee and 32nd overall in his shots gained approaching the green. Bradley has hit 29/54 of greens in regulation through three rounds and has been relying heavily on his putter to keep him in the hunt this week, ranking 3rd in shots gained putting.
Bettors should not expect Bradley to continue to save pars like he has been and should fade the fan favorite on Sunday.
Rory McIlroy To Win (+300)
Rory McIlroy is ready to return to the Memorial Tournament winners circle. McIlroy was +900 to win the memorial entering the tournament and was a heavy favorite amongst the field.
McIlroy started out slow with an opening round even-par score of 72, but bounced back nicely in rounds 2 and 3, shooting a 68 and 70 in those respective rounds. If McIlroy is able to put together another consistent round of golf, he should find himself atop the leaderboard after it is all said and done.
Even if it takes a playoff to decide the winner, I am confident that McIlroy will have the distance and precision to hit the shots to put an insane amount of pressure on his opponents and win the Memorial.
