BetMGM Partners with NYRA Bets for Horse Racing Wagering
Horse racing wagering is getting an upgrade on BetMGM.
BetMGM has been making some substantial acquisitions. MGM Resorts International hired Wayne Gretzky as an ambassador for BetMGM. This partnership between the platform and “The Great One” was created to expand BetMGM’s North American presence.
BetMGM also made another big announcement that coincided with the Gretzky partnership. BetMGM and NYRA Bets LLC have agreed to a new deal. NYRA Bets will become BetMGM’s first horse racing betting platform.
This could not have been a better group for BetMGM to partner with for horse racing wagering. NYRA Bets LLC is the official online wagering platform of the New York Racing Association. It has been widely used by people throughout the United States.
NYRA Bets Background
The partnership is going to take horse racing wagering to a new level on BetMGM Sportsbook. It’s expected to cause many horse bettors to transition to the platform.
BetMGM users will be able to watch and wager on premier Thoroughbred, Harness, and Quarter Horse races globally at 200 tracks. NYRA Bets launched in 2016 and achieved vast growth in the past year.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced people to wager from their phones for horse racing betting. Horse racing wagering resumed earlier than many other sports during the pandemic, which caused all eyes to be on tracks worldwide.
The platform is secure and technologically advanced compared to other services. NYRA Bets is available in 30 states, and the company is planning on expanding after the success in the past year.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt indicated that he was very excited about the partnership with NYRA Bets.

Details of the Partnership
BetMGM will incorporate NYRA Bets into the horse racing section of its sportsbook. Customers on BetMGM will now have access to more advanced horse racing markets because of the agreement.
Daily live streams, race replays, and additional content on BetMGM will make the book the premier horse racing wagering site in the legal betting industry.
Major race odds will be included because of the partnership as well. These events include the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, Belmont Stakes, and the Breeders’ Cup in the United States. Some of the international events include the Royal Ascot meet, Melbourne Cup, Saudi Cup, and the Dubai World Cup.
