Indiana Welcomes Two New Sportsbooks

Legal online sports betting in the state of Indiana launched all the way back in Fall of 2019. Indiana was among the first wave of states to legalize sports betting, but it’s also been a state that has consistently seen plenty of growth.

SBK Sportsbook is the most recent to launch in the state of Indiana as it came to the state just a week after the launch of MaximBet. Both of these operators are still trying to get their name out there in the United States, and they chose Indiana as a launching point.

MaximBet comes to Indiana as a slightly bigger name, but it’s still getting things rolling in the United States. SBK Sportsbook has actually been in Indiana for the past six months, but it was only offering a small sample of what it could eventually become.

The online sportsbooks in Indiana continue to rack up the most action even though there are plenty of retail sportsbooks in the state. It was a slow summer for the sports betting industry in the Hoosier State, but things will pick back up now that football has started and basketball is coming soon.

Indiana has plenty of competition in the Midwest portion of the country, and another competitor will be jumping in soon. The state of Ohio will officially launch sports betting on January 1, 2023 and it should be an even bigger market.

MaximBet Being Aggressive

MaximBet is now live in the state of Indiana after the company promised that it was going to seek out more expansion. Colorado was the first stop for MaximBet and it began to target Indiana after a successful launch in that state.

The Kambi Group and White Hat Gaming worked together to help create and launch the MaximBet Sportsbook, and the efforts from those two groups could make this one of the best products on the market. It’s unclear which state will be the next target of MaximBet, but there are some good options that are on the list.

SBK Can Change the Game

The soft launch from SBK Sportsbook produced a similar product that can be found from other operators in Indiana. Now that the entire platform has been launched, SBK Sportsbook will be changing the game for sports bettors in the state.

There is a sports betting exchange program offered from SBK Sportsbook and bettors will be able to follow along with how others are wagering. This operator is also hoping to become a leader in the state by offering odds that are more valuable than those from some of the other competitors.

Colorado was the first state to receive the full SBK Sportsbook and it has been live since 2020. Iowa will be the next state to receive this new sports betting option, and that launch could come in a couple of months.
