9 Big Ten Teams Make the Tournament

The Big Ten has proven why their conference was the best when comparing the competition to the other conferences like the ACC, SEC, etc. The Big Ten has more teams in the NCAA Tournament than any other conference, featuring nine teams.

Four teams maintained the first or second seed in the Big Dance, and the remaining five teams cannot be slept on as they could bust this March at any given moment in both ways meaning they can pull off an upset or ruin your bracket.

Many college basketball fans, especially Big Ten fans, as the Tourney will be happening as last year, cut short due to the pandemic. The Ten produced conference produced the SN Player of the Year in Iowa’s Luka Garza and Coach of the Year in Juwan Howard. The conference is also represented by nine teams that haven’t produced a national championship since 2000.

Can one of these break the curse and bring a title to the Big 10 eleven years later. In recent years, the Michigan Wolverines were the closest to win the national championship, losing to the Villanova Wildcats 79-62 in 2018.

Let’s take a look at the 9 Big Ten Teams that will make the tournament this year!
