Bally’s Launches Bally Bet Mobile App in Colorado
In the latest gambling news, Bally’s launches Bally Bet mobile app in Colorado. The newest addition to the Colorado betting scene will now have Bally Bet available to local residents.
This will be a beta test on the market. There will still be engaging content with a strong focus on development and further testing.
Events Leading up to Bally Bet
The sports betting atmosphere settled in Colorado back in May of 2020. Over $2.3 billion has been wagered within a year, and revenue of about $148 million per Colorado Division of Gaming.
Bally Bet has transpired after a series of events. Bet.Works was acquired by Bally’s, and they are also the ones who helped create Bally Bet.
Founder and CEO of Bet.Works David Wang is set to take over and become CEO of Bally’s Interactive whenever the acquisition has been completed. The launch of Bally Bet has been a creative piece in the making and is pointing to the future of Bally’s.
What’s In Bally Bet?
Bally Bet will feature a handful of betting opportunities within the app that most seasoned bettors are used to seeing. These include parlays, bets for big events, and other social features.
Bally Bet will also include the additional feature of accumulating points for betting on sports. These points can be used to redeem certain options such as gaming, retail items, and dining within all three casinos of Bally’s Golden Gates, Golden Gulch and Mardi Gras.
These will eventually be integrated nationwide for other Bally’s casinos. There are currently 12 Bally’s casinos in eight states.
Furthermore, they have deals in place to expand into more states. Construction has been going on and they will eventually have 16 casinos spread out in 11 states.
As you can see, Bally’s has its land-based operations continuing to expand while also implementing more technology to reach other gamblers. The addition of their mobile app is great timing and never too late to enter the market.
Future of Bally’s Sportsbook
The integration of Bally Bet and Bally’s Rewards will be something to watch. They intend to provide an overall betting opportunity for an excellent gambling experience in addition to rewarding their guests.
Bally’s has plans to launch their new mobile sportsbook in three additional markets later this year. Assuming the launch of this one goes well, you could see things speed up down the line.
There are already plans in motion to have Bally Bet featured in other markets by 2022. These markets have not been named just yet.
Bally’s looks to continue expanding rapidly, as land-based operations mentioned above have grown quite fast. Once they have set up in Colorado, you could see them take off in the mobile betting market.
The app is available now for download if you would like to check it out yourself. Keep in mind that Colorado still has a beta stage so things could be improved once a proper launch has been conducted.
