Aston Villa have the tools to compete with the Spurs and quite frankly, dominate this game. Spurs have been known to play sloppy soccer and let less talented teams control the tempo. However, Villa have dropped 14 points after being in winning positions in their last seven games.

Villa getting an early goal would take them a decent way to a win, but they need to hold onto that lead for the first time in a while if they really want to win. Not getting complacent and keeping their defensive shape for two full halves gives Aston Villa the win.

This is Aston Villa’s final away game and the last time they won their final away game was 2010. In fact, that was their only time winning their final away game in the last eighteen seasons. If history has it, Aston Villa is going to come out to this game asleep and nonchalant.
