Superman is Back! Best Bets for NFL Week 11

Sunday is always the highlight of the week— everybody knows that. Sunday’s provide time to go grab brunch with the family; sleep in late, grab some coffee and go sit on the porch; maybe go shopping with your friends at the mall; but if you are like the rest of us, Sundays are for one thing and one thing only: NFL bet slips.

Through 10 weeks of the 2021 NFL season, there have been plenty of storylines to focus on, whether they be a 44-year-old’s chance at the MVP, the back-to-back AFC champions hitting new lows, or the resurgence of a fallen dynasty in the Northeast. But above all, this weekend’s gridiron gives yet another beautiful chance to win some money.

Here are the best NFL Week 11 bets that should rake in the dough this glorious Sunday.

San Francisco 49ers -5.5 & Under 45.5 Points vs Jacksonville Jaguars (+240)

Apparently, FanDuel is giving away $2.40 on the dollar this weekend, because the 49ers, fresh off of an authoritative win over the Los Angeles Rams, should easily beat a 2-7 Jacksonville team on the road. The Jags are only averaging a hair over eight points per game across their last three contests, and rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence has still thrown more interceptions than touchdowns this season.

The Niners pride themselves on tough defense, which should keep the game under, while their offense does enough to win by double digits.

Cam Newton Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105)

Newton brought the house down in his return to the Carolina Panthers last weekend, scoring two touchdowns (one throwing, one rushing) despite only getting seven snaps en route to a 34-10 victory over the 8-2 Arizona Cardinals.

“Superman” has scored 13 rushing touchdowns in his last 16 games, serving almost as an auxiliary fullback, and now that he is in line to start against the Washington Football Team and his old head coach, Ron Rivera, expect him to get his nose across the goal line once again.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Los Angeles Chargers U46.5 (-112)

The Chargers’ defense has been indefensible over the past month, and normally, that would play a huge factor in deciding the points total.

However, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been lifeless on offense for most of the season, scoring the sixth-fewest points per game— combine this with the fact that they play air-tight defense, and the football world is in for a close, low-scoring affair at SoFi Stadium.

New York Giants +10.5 (-106) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If anyone has been paying attention to the reigning Super Bowl champions, they would see that that group has not been the same; meanwhile, the Giants have a legitimate defense that can cause problems for quarterbacks, especially one that has thrown two interceptions in each of his last two outings.

New York recently beat the Las Vegas Raiders at home, and while facing the Bucs on the road is a much different prospect, they should be able to come within a touchdown and a field goal of their NFC rivals— especially with the chance to notch another victory over Tom Brady.
