TCU vs Oklahoma Prediction & College Football Odds for Week 7

  • Oklahoma leads the all-time series 16-5.
  • TCU hasn’t won back-to-back road games since 2018
  • Sooners have won the last six meetings.

The TCU Horned Frogs will travel to Norman and take on the Oklahoma Sooners for a Big 12 battle.

TCU (3-2, 1-1) won their first road game of the season last weekend against Texas Tech. The Horned Frogs jumped out to a big 25-point halftime lead, and didn’t let off the gas, defeating the Red Raiders 52-31. Running backs Kendre Miller and Zac Evans both had big games on the ground.

Oklahoma (6-0, 3-0) avoided disaster for the fifth time last weekend at the Texas State Fair. The Sooners went into the locker room down 18 points, and Lincoln Riley’s team pulled off one of the most memorable moments in the history of the Red River Rivalry. Kennedy Brooks 33-yard scamper led to the Sooners winning their sixth straight game and keeping their title hopes alive.

Betting Odds & Lines for This Game

TCU vs Oklahoma Prediction: Spread

Oklahoma has endured a tough battle with the spread this season. It started with their early-season scare against Tulane at home, nearly losing to the Conference USA mainstay, and falling flat on their 31-point spread. Former Big 12 rival Nebraska came close themselves, and their games with current conference foes West Virginia and Kansas State were decided by even less.

TCU looked really strong after dropping a pair of rivalry games to SMU and Texas. The Horned Frogs haven’t scored less than 27 points in a game this season, and they have the ground game to give OU trouble, just as Texas did last Saturday.

Oklahoma’s comeback in Dallas was inspiring, but they just haven’t been able to cover a double-digit margin. Trust Gary Patterson’s squad to keep things close this weekend, and spot them the spots.

TCU vs Oklahoma Prediction: MoneyLine

TCU started fast last week, but Oklahoma presents a different challenge defensively. The Sooners were pretty stout against the run prior to Bijan Robinson running wild at the State Fair, and a return home should help them get back on track.

Although the Sooners have questions at quarterback, look for them to ride last week’s momentum and come out strong early. Take OU’s first half moneyline

TCU vs Oklahoma Prediction: Total

Last weekend was the outburst we were looking for from Lincoln Riley’s annually robust offense.

The Horned Frogs haven’t gone under all year, and with both defenses giving up at least 30 points multiple times this season, we could be in for another high-scoring Big 12 battle. Take the over this weekend, but monitor OU’s backfield situation.
