This week we get an important inter-conference matchup between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Kansas State Wildcats. The Sooners coming into this game number 6 in the AP top 25. They are coming off a nail-biter win against West Virginia beating them 19-16. Kansas State comes into this game after a tough conference loss against ranked 16 Oklahoma State. The last two times these two teams met, Kansas State has pulled off the upset. Can they do it again?

Sooners vs Wildcats Prediction: Spread
The issue with this spread is how larger the score differential is. 10.5 points is a wide margin to make a bet on. So, it is easy to feel uncertain about who to pick against the spread.
This season, Oklahoma is 1-3 against the spread which is a very worrisome spot to be in. The Sooners are in a potential spot to be dropped out of the top 10 even with a win. One would be very hesitant to bet on a team with such a poor record and low momentum.
Looking at the other side of the spectrum, Kansas State is 2-2 against the spread. They are currently 0-1 against ranked teams and Big 12 opponents (both stats vs OK State). With their starting QB, Skylar Newman, likely out for Saturday’s contest, it seems easy to pick against the Wildcats.
Ultimately, I fear Oklahoma will not be able to cover the spread for the third straight week. Beyond the 76-0 victory against West Carolina, there is no justification to pick them to cover the spread considering the trend.

As far as the Moneyline goes, I believe this is hard to pick. The Sooners are currently favored at -430 ($100= $123.26 total payout) which seems rather favorable to any Oklahoma bettors. The Wildcats are currently listed as underdogs at +330 ($100=$430 total payout) which seems reasonable if it’s worth the risk.
Oklahoma has been struggling to pull out a convincing win all season. Rattler has been struggling to put the ball in the endzone and betting aside his draft stock has been plummeting astronomically!
The only flashing concern for K-State is the QB situation. Currently, the listed starting QB for the Wildcats is sophomore Will Howard. He briefly played last season and posted solid stats while he played.
This is just an upset waiting to happen. This game belongs to K-State and they can run away with it especially since Oklahoma can’t stomp their foot down. If you are willing to risk it, pick the Wildcats to win this game!
