This game could be a future Big 12 rivalry game. A clash of 5-1 teams filled with success in this season. Two well-rounded teams on a potential ranking shifting game. Both rosters are filled with fantastic all-around talent hoping for a big win. It’s Jaren Hall and BYU against Gerry Bohanon and the Baylor Bears!
The Cougars are coming off their first loss of the season against Boise State and led to them dropping to 19 in the AP. Jaren Hall tossed a fantastic 302 yards and 1 touchdown. The offense outplayed Boise State however they were unable to score more points.
The Bears are heading home after a huge inter-conference win against West Virginia. Gerry Bohanon threw for 4 touchdowns and a 204.9 passer rating! He ripped the Mountaineers to shreds and there is no telling what Baylor will do against ranked 19 BYU.

With teams being unable to stop Gerry Bohanon, I do not think BYU will be able to handle him. He has been outstanding passing for over 1.3k yards and 11 TDs with a passer rating of 168.4. This is a consistent offense and will therefore be able to win by more than 5 points which will hit the spread this Saturday!

There is value in the BYU +194 odds however Baylor will end up beating the Cougars. Greg Bohanon has been unstoppable and there is no way that Baylor will be able to contain this aggressive Bears offense.
BYU has allowed too many double-digit games and Baylor has been able to hammer down their opponents. Baylor will dominate the game and with this win should be ranked! This game will be juggled back and forth however Baylor will take this game.

These are two very high-powered offenses that like to score. They both average a total of 65.8 combined total points however the two teams haven’t allowed over 27 points all year. The spread for this matchup is 50.5 points.
In college football, there seems to be a trend of low-scoring games in these styles of matchups. Although the over may seem enticing, this will end up canceling out and sadly the game will not exceed 50 points. Sometimes, the high-scoring matchups don’t end up that way and this matchup is poised to be a low-scoring one.
