Nets vs 76ers Prediction: The top two Eastern Conference teams will be going head to head Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Center. What makes this matchup even better is that stars Kevin Durant and Joel Embiid will be back on the hardwood.
Nets Preview
The Brooklyn Nets suffered a bad loss to the LA Lakers on Saturday. Kevin Durant was restricted on minutes and put up 22 points in 24 minutes. Kyrie Irving’s emotions took over and he and Lakers Dennis Schroder were ejected from the game.
The Nets will now be playing against the team they could will most likely see in the conference finals if they make it there. James Harden is still out so the Nets will look to Kevin and Kyrie to lead the team against the rolling 76ers.
Role players such as Joe Harris, Blake Griffin, and Jeff Green need to play their best basketball Wednesday. A road win for the Nets will put them in first place since they are only a half a game behind Philidelphia.
Durant has a great track record when it come to his basketball play after returning from an injury. Although KD has had issues this season with Covid-19 and injuries he is still one of the top contenders to win the NBA title with the Nets.
Durant has made 21 appearances for the Nets and in those 21 he is averaging 28.1 points per game, 7.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and a 52.8 field goal percentage. Behind the arc he is shooting a great 43.7%.

Philadelphia Preview
The Philidelphia 76ers won their last two games to retake the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Doc Rivers and the Sixers have played incredible defense lately. In their last four matchups the Sixers defense has held their opponents to less than 100 points.
Philadelphia picked up their 37th win against the Mavericks last game winning 113-95. Embiid dropped 36 points, 7 rebounds, and two assists in only 26 minutes of play time. The last time the Sixers saw the Nets they won 124-108.
Ben Simmons put up 16 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. Tobias Harris had 21 points with 12 rebounds and Embiid had 33 points. Doc Rivers is hoping to see another game like this from his stars.
As we all know embiid is making a great run for the MVP title. Since his knee injury Embiid has played like the MVP dominating on both sides of the court. Embiid will have a big advantage in the post against the Nets.
The only person who is big enough to guard him is DeAndre Jordan but Embiid’s skill level is unmatched. In 36 games Embiid is averaging 29.6 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 blocks. He is shooting an MVP caliber 52% from the field.

The Nets are looking for a big win Wednesay after falling to the Lakers in an embarrassing loss. The Nets are missing James Harden and have Kevin Durant on playing time restrictions.
With sad being said the Nets are underdogs as the 76ers are back to full team with everyone healthy.The Sixers trio is on roll and dont expect them to stop anytime soon. I predict that the Philadelphia 76ers will take home the win Wednesday night.
