NBA Finals: Suns at Bucks Game 4 Betting Preview
Much of the attention in the world of sports has been on the Major League Baseball All-Star Game the last few days, but it shifts back to basketball on Wednesday. It’s time for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, and this might be the most important game of the entire series.
The Phoenix Suns stormed out to a 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals by protecting home court. Phoenix was the big betting favorite coming into this matchup, but it now appears that they have some work left to do.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks were able to storm back with a 120-100 victory in Game 3 on Sunday night, and that kept them alive. The Bucks will now look to even this series up with another win and turn this into a best-of-three series.
The Bucks are four-point favorites over the Suns in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night.
Suns Must Make Shots
If the Phoenix Suns are going to beat the Bucks in Milwaukee, then they are going to have to shoot the ball extremely well. Phoenix is shooting nearly 38 percent from deep so far in the postseason, but the entire roster needs to step up and make shots on Wednesday night.
Devin Booker continues to lead the Suns with more than 26 points per game in the playoffs, and the Suns could use a dominant performance from their star. Booker has gotten the full attention of the Bucks, and they are trying to make things difficult for the young star.
DeAndre Ayton continues to put up big numbers for the Suns as well, posting 16.3 points and 11.9 rebounds per game. Look for the Suns to work through their big guy to try and establish a rhythm on offense.
The Suns also need to get back to playing terrific defense, and they must do so without committing a ton of fouls.
It’s time for Game 4 of the 2021 NBA Finals, and this might be the most important game of the entire series.Giannis Guiding Bucks
Every time the Milwaukee Bucks look like they are going to come up short, Giannis Antetokounmpo puts up a performance for the ages. Antetokounmpo was in attack mode in the Game 3 victory, and that put him at the line a total of 17 times.
The “Greek Freak” is averaging 29.2 points and 12.9 rebounds per game in the postseason, and the Suns don’t seem to have an answer for him. Milwaukee made shots to support their star in Game 3, but this team is shooting just 32 percent from the field in the playoffs.
Milwaukee wants to play extremely fast on both ends of the floor, and that strategy worked in the Game 3 win. The Suns will look to counter in this matchup, and the Bucks will have to prove that they can score in the halfcourt.
Suns Take Control of Series
Despite getting blown out in the Game 3 loss, the Phoenix Suns are still the much more complete team in this series. The Suns have proven that they can win on the road before, and they will be up for the challenge in Game 4.
Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to do everything to lead the Bucks, but he is going to need some help in this game. Khris Middleton will deliver, but Milwaukee doesn’t always get great performances from the bench.
Look for the Suns to find a way to slow down the “Greek Freak,” and they will try to take control of this game with their defense. Milwaukee will keep this game close, but they won’t have enough to even up the series.
Forget about taking the points and bet on the Phoenix Suns to beat the Milwaukee Bucks outright in Game 4 of the series. With the win, the Suns will be just one win away from capturing one of the most impressive titles in NBA history.
Final Score
Phoenix Suns 112
Milwaukee Bucks 104
