Colorado Avalanche vs Las Vegas Golden Knights Betting Preview
Welcome to Colorado Avalanche vs Las Vegas Golden Knights betting preview!
These two teams are very evenly matched now that the series is 3-2 in the favor of the Golden Knights after a 3-2 game 5 win in overtime. The Avalanche have been the best goal-scoring team in the playoffs and that has carried them as far as they’ve come.
They average just over 3 goals a game in the playoffs this season and that’s because of their two superstars, Gabriel Landeskog and Nathan Mackinnon who both have over 12+ points in 8 games in these playoffs.
The Golden Knights have battled back after being down 2-0 in the series to winning three straight games and taking a series lead 3-2. The Golden Knights have struggled with inconsistent offensive play from their top line as Mark Stone has been the only one able to score consistently on that top line.
They have been getting stellar performances out of their 36-year-old veteran Stanley Cup-winning goalie Marc-Andre Fleury as he is putting up a 7-5 record with a 1.8 goals-against average with a .92 save percentage so far in these playoffs.
Colorado Avalanche Betting Preview
The Avs had a 2-0 series lead heading into game 3, then they lost three straight games and are now one game away from elimination. The scoring has dipped in production the last few games and you can tell because they scored seven goals in game one and only have eight goals in the last five games combined.
Their two superstars Landeskog and MacKinnon have slowed down drastically in production as well, only combining for two assists since the end of game one in this series.
This game will be taking place in Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena where the Avs are 0-2 this series after taking the first two games of this series in Vegas. The Avalanche were favored by 1.5 goals in those games played in Vegas and they didn’t cover in either game so far.
The Avs have only covered a -1.5 once in this series and it was in game one and with the Golden Knights going for the series win, I don’t expect either team to cover a -1.5 puck line for the remainder of the series.

Las Vegas Golden Knights Betting Preview
The Golden Knights have done the impossible, which is to win 3 games in a row and two of them on the road to seal a game 6 elimination game at home. The Golden
Knights have a 4-2 home record in the playoffs and the Avalanche have a 2-0 record in Vegas these playoffs and have a combined record of 6-4 in Vegas dating back to the regular season. Obviously, the Avalanche need this game to force a game 7 win or go home elimination game back in Colorado.
The Golden Knights come into this one as favorites at home being favored by 1.5 goals for the first time all series but I don’t think they cover it tonight. With their back against the wall I expect the Avs to come out with a vengeance.
If they want to have any chance of winning and moving in this series they’re going to have to tap into what worked for them in the first two games of the series.
