Even though the Aggies have won their last 9 games by 18 or over points, they will not cover the spread. The Aggies offense struggled last week with their freshman quarterback throwing 3 picks.
Colorado’s rushing attack will make the score closer, and their rushing defense will also help. Texas will have a couple bad turnovers in the red zone area, which will give Colorado a couple extra possiens. However, I still expect a double digit win by the Aggies with T.J Strout out.
This injury is really going to hurt Colorado this week and any week where he does not play. However with a struggling freshman quarterback for the Aggies. With a close first half, it will make the Aggies spread really hard to cover.

We definitely have Texas A&M winning this week two matchup. If Colorado wants to win they’ll have to dominate the rushing game, like they did against Northern Colorado. They’ll need over 250 rushing yards, but this is unlikely with the Aggies defense.
This game will be closer than what the odds and lines say, but Colorado has a huge hole to climb out of with Strout injured. Even with a struggling rookie Texas A&M is the better football team.
This game will begin close for the first half, then in the third or fourth Texas A&M’s offense will wake up. When this happens Colorado will be forced to a passing role, and when that happens Colorado will lose the game. Colorado must control the clock, limit the number of passies for the offense, and number of possessions of the Aggies if they want to win.

The final score of the game will be Texas A&M 34 and Colorado 21. This game will be barely over the total points. The reason for this will be a strong second half that will lead the Aggies to the win.
Colorado will get must if not all of their points on the ground. Also, they will most likely have a couple interceptions late in the game. Colorado will have a hard time moving the ball if not running, and Texas A&M will have a terrific second half.
