MGM Resorts Unveils Borgata Air Service
MGM Resorts is stepping it up a notch with their latest move. They recently revealed plans to create an air service that will escort guests from 75 different cities throughout the United States all the way to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, located in New Jersey.
The new air service is referred to as MGM Direct, which is an excellent idea for dedicated guests that enjoy what Borgata has to offer. This makes a great step for the business to offer their casino to almost everyone in the US willing to travel.
Details of the Service
MGM Direct offers non-stop jet services from top markets in the US. The markets are in heavily populated cities and desired locations. Some of these include:
- Clearwater, Florida
- Cincinnati, Ohio
- Buffalo, New York
- Charlotte, North Carolina
- Houston, Texas
- Detroit, Michigan
Air packages will start around $553 per individual with some exciting features. This inclusive package offers round trip airfare and a fancy stay for three nights in the hotel, and ground transportation back and forth between the airport and Borgata.

The first flight is scheduled to take place on July 16 for Hard Rock Air, so MGM knew they had to get the ball rolling to keep up with another top name in the business. Both companies are offering innovative opportunities to provide guests with the best experience possible.
With MGM Resorts leading another opportunity, the market is showing signs of life after Covid-19. These two will continue to battle out for a competition, but one could argue that they will not be the only ones to offer this type of service.
Positive Expectations
The race is on for companies to try and bring innovation to the table. Moves like these broaden a company’s horizons by a landslide.
The MGM Executive Director of Charter Services, Sean Farrell, publicly stated his excitement for the deal. He believes Atlantic City is the heart of gambling in the US and that this provides a great opportunity to allow guests to visit the destination.
They launched an exclusive charter program back in 2008 with MGM’s Beau Rivage resort in Gulfport-Biloxi that has worked out well since that time. Hosting tens of thousands of guests during that span is one of the reasons why they looked to expand their reach to customers.
Atlantic City Getting a Boost
Not only does the latest move by MGM help the company, but it offers opportunities for New Jersey to profit too. The air program will allow for customers to take in Atlantic City to dine in local restaurants, various entertainment options, and other popular events happening in New Jersey.
